It is a deep ruby-red with orange tinges. The bouquet is intense and ethereal, hinting at ripe black cherry, spiciness, with aromatic, vanilla, tobacco, and Christmas cake aromas. It is dry, round and rich with supple textures and ripe, grainy tannins. Fine black cherry, pepper and coffee flavours mix with spice, orange peel, tar, vanilla, mint and smoke. A well balanced ripe and attractive Barolo that will age from 3-10 years. Serve in large glasses at room temperature.
