Le Corti Cru is characterized by its particular exposition and the rich soil. The vines are cultivated with the cordon spur training system in order to obtain from 1 to 2 kg of grapes per vine. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Winemakers Notes: "The 2008 vintage Marilyn Merlot is the 24th release of this fine wine. It is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was aged in 100% oak barrels, 35% of which were new for this vintage. Aromas of Herbes de Provence, primarily thyme and lavender complement the oak components of vanilla and smoke from the wood.
