VINIFICATION: 100% Pinotage. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity and fermented dry on the skins at 28 C. Thereafter, the free run portion was placed in a second and a third fill oak barrels for 9 to 12 months. TASTING NOTES: Bright strawberry on the nose laced with banana. Complex ripe fruit flavours extend to the palate where smooth tannins ensure a rich mouthfeel. ANALYSIS:
A rich bouquet of violets, plums, cherries, cinnamon, pepper, and licorice, topped by tobacco and white truffles. Dry, well-balanced flavour with a lingering finish.
